Use open ended cable knitting needles to hold stitches when knitting cable patterns and can be placed in front or behind the knitwear. The U-shape is a smart way to keep cable stitches in place on the curve of the needle. We recommend using a cable needle in the same size or slightly smaller than the working needle size. The smooth finish also helps to keep a smooth rhythm when following a pattern.

i also like at the top it has a giraffe print on the back of the tip (my favourite animal is a giraffe) so it was a perfect little surprise when i got home!

I love the quality of material used as it is so easy to work with. Yarn slides so easily which makes for faster knitting. I also love the length of needles as I like to be able to tuck needles underarm and of course hold more stitches so enables more items with lots of stitches involved.

I am a beginner at knitting. I started off using a pair of bamboo needles I had bought years ago, but became frustrated at constantly needing to stop & push the stitches up to the end. I needed a smoother, “slipperier” needle surface to get into my rhythm.

I’m new to knitting and found these comfortable to hold. Being plastic they do bend a bit but are really well built so I’ve had no worries of accidentally snapping them. I prefer these way more to metal ones as they have more traction and are lighter weight.

Was recommended these by a friend who’s a big knitter. Have to say as someone who has never knitted before, after watching a few tutorials on the well know “tube” I was on my way to homemade knitted scarfy goodness in no time. Would absolutely recommend to anyone starting out just make sure you get a good chunky wool.

Easy to slip chunky stitches from needle to needle. Just the right length to comfortably sit just under my arms when knitting a blanket etc. I prefer to use straight needles rather than the shorter wired needles and these were just right.

Not only are they a great price but they are lovely to knit with. They glide beautifully through the yarn without snags, and unlike some other metal needles these are silent. Very important if you live with a chap to whom the sound of metal needles clicking sets his teeth on edge.

These knitting needles are lightweight, making them easy to carry on the go, whilst still being sturdy enough not to bend. The length is great as well as its long enough to make some wider items without being unreasonably long to knit with.

I had to switch to these after using bamboo needles which started to hitch the yarn and struggled with the weight of my knitting as I went along. These needles are strong and not too ‘slidey’ for the cotton mix I am knitting with. Overall, very pleased
